The best place to be nude on the beach and potentially to be in ample nude company is probably the very long Migjorn beach on the south side of the island, except maybe just in front of the two big "RIU La Mola" and "Insotel Formentera Playa" hotels where people are more likely to be predominantly textiled up.

Hi there, we are currently in Formentera and I can confirm that, at least on the Es Arenals part of the Migjorn beach (i.e. in front of the Voga Mari restaurant / bungalows), about half of the people are nudists and there's absolutely no problem with that and no sign of "animosity".

But one beach where you are likely to find more naturists is the Es Arenals beach (part of the very long Migjorn beach) in front of the Voga Mari bungalows / restaurant.

Formentera has a strong nude beach culture with nudity common on all the island's beaches. There's no pressure and normally there's a mix of states of attire, with 'clothing optional' being the key phrase, but try it out, it's actually pretty nice!. The sole exception is the town beach in Es Pujols during the peak season.
